The Revit batch unit conversion tool has been updated to work with Revit 2021. For those not familiar with the tool, it allows you to convert the current document, or to batch process families to convert them from metric to imperial.

Please refer to the updated posts regarding the unit conversion tool here:

I have released the source code for both the old version (pre-2022 versions of Revit) and the new version (for 2022+). You can view the code on GitHub here:

HAS THIS BEEN UPDATED FOR 2022?
Hello,
Any chance of a 2023 version?
Steve
I couldn’t see the rely that was sent, sorry for asking this again. Does this work with Revit 2022, 2023 and 2024?
Hi Mark, I’ve updated the addin to work with Revit 2024 and shared the source code on github, you can find it here: https://www.revit.com.au/revit-unit-converter-update/
Awesome, thank you Ryan. I am the Content Manager for my Firm and I work with Imperial and Metric families across the globe. I love this tool, it saves me countless hours converting families so I am very grateful that you were able to update it. Thank you.
Hi Ryan,
Thanks for your hardwork here for 2024 update.
Couple of comments.
Windows defender says trojan attached – Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.B!ml. I know its probably not the case and turned off defender to install without issue.
Some units that do not update.
Speed to km/h in common
Apparent power density to VA/m2 in electrical
Heat capacity per area to kJ/m2K in energy
Mass to kg in piping
Area spring coeef to kN/m3 in structural
Steve
Hi Steve,
I’m not sure what that is about. Definitely no trojans in there. I wonder if it’s picking up the NSIS installer for some reason?
I will remove this download as the updated version is now on github, complete with code if you want to review.
New version which supports the new units API in Revit 2022+: https://github.com/ryanlenihan/Revit_UnitConversion

Hey Ryan,
Thanks for the reply. will you be updating the addin to work with Revit 2026 & into the future?
Cheers
